Frequently asked questions
Can I view the cameras from my phone?
Yes. Every system includes a free app for live and recorded footage, and you choose who else has access.
How long is footage kept?
Most home systems keep 14 to 30 days and then overwrite the oldest recordings. Business systems are usually set to 30 days. We can fit larger drives if you need longer.
Will it work at night?
Yes. The cameras we fit have infrared or colour night vision. We check lighting at the survey, because sometimes a small lighting change does more than a dearer camera.
Do I need permission to put up cameras?
Almost never for a home. If a camera captures a neighbour's property or the street, data protection rules apply, and we'll position cameras to avoid that where we can.
Can you take over or upgrade my existing system?
Often, yes. A survey will tell you whether it's worth keeping or replacing.
