Black dome camera under the soffit of a brick house in Kinallen
THE JOB

A home CCTV system in Kinallen, near Dromore. The black cameras suit the red brick and dark soffits, and sit on the corners and under the eaves where they get the widest view.

The recorder is in the roof space, fixed to the timbers rather than left lying on the insulation, with every cable dressed and tied back. It is out of sight, but easy to reach when it needs servicing.

Recorders in lofts are often an afterthought. We treat them as part of the install, because a tidy loft is easier and quicker to service.
