A four-camera Dahua IP system for a home in Lisburn, installed in one day. The homeowner wanted to feel safe and secure when at home at night.

The cameras sit under the soffits and on the brick where they get a clear view of the approaches to the house. Together with the security lighting around the property, they give that extra sense of security after dark.

In the loft, the recorder is fixed to a board with its power and network connection, each labelled CCTV, and the camera cables are clipped along the roof timbers rather than left lying in the insulation.

Four cameras and a video doorbell

The owners had recently moved into a new-build home in Lisburn and wanted added security around the property. We fitted a four-camera Dahua IP system, plus a Dahua video doorbell and chime.

The doorbell gives a great view of anyone approaching from the street, and the cameras cover the outside of the house from under the soffits.

The camera cables run neatly along the roof trusses, and the recorder is fixed to the wall beside its socket, with the power lead and network cables tied back and labelled.
